Synopsis
This is the tale of a cock-less cock and a pussy-less pussy, all in one. An amateur project inspired by Chris Marker’s La jetée, as well as by the Countersexual Manifesto of Beatriz Preciado, this short movie explores a technologically mediated ambiguity of what it is to have a cock or a pussy, fucking most of all with gender. Thus, a woman (?) can masturbate her cock (?) using her hand or a vibrator. The camera’s shutter (another technological device) can also be heard in action throughout the movie, along with the moans and sighs of pleasure. The songs add another layer of meaning, along with the voice-overs of several differently gendered people, who play around with the notion of what it is like, to have a cock – “now I have it… now I don’t” – addressing perhaps the audience, themselves, or even the phallus. The resulting techno-hermaphrodite has, above all, the power to transform itself.
